What a precious day this was for Kailea and Andrew! Some thing that means so much to me is when couples trust me to capture their vision for their wedding day. Sure, I take pretty pictures and I do it with joy and creativity, but if we’re realistic, so do tons of other photographers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. When someone asks me what makes me different, I of course say “Myself and my personality,” but I also mention something I think is the key factor in choosing your photographer: I am willing and have a desire to get to know you and your fiance on a personal level to better understand what your hopes and visions are for your big day. I want to be able to tell your story through YOUR eyes, not mine. And it takes intention and great conversations to allow that to happen. Yes, please make sure my style is something you enjoy, because as we know, there are plenty of options nowadays, but there’s a great aspect to that though because everyone is unique and each love story should be captured uniquely as well. When I first met Kailea and Andrew, I could tell that photography was a priority for them and that they took it seriously. They shared with me what they were excited about the most for their wedding day and things they were wanting me to look out for throughout the day. They picked some incredible venues and vendors. The gorgeous Marty Leonard Chapel being there ceremony space and the fun Artspace 111 for their reception. They had the Royal Dukes Band perform after dinner and they were incredible! Kailea, Andrew, and all of their guests had such a great time. I noticed while I was there and the more I got to know the couple through their engagement session and the wedding timeline call, I learned that family meant so much to them. Kailea’s mom had passed away when she was younger and so the family they currently had was incredibly special to them. We made it our goal to go around and get photographs of everyone at their party. We certainly couldn’t have shared all of them with you guys, but I hope as you’re going through these images, you see the intention we had to keep the couple’s vision apparent. Congratulations again you two, it was such an honor! Lots of love, Hayle!!
