I have been lucky enough to have met Ro and Jamee through their wedding planner Laura, with Pineapple Plum Events. Ro and Jamee met me at our office and I instantly fell for Ro. She has the most charming smile and we clicked immediately. She expressed her love for photography and how special photos are for her. Their big day is going to be full of family and fun and I am just so beyond excited for April. Rashondra has a love for the Bishops Arts District and inparticular is super partial to Zoomos Pop-Up Shop. Their shop is owned by a really great couple; who is also same sex; and they opened up their shop on a day they were closed to accomadate us. Amazing! We took our time and really enjoyed the space. You must take a moment and check out their _ + _ = love clothing. They have an entire line of adorable shirts! I took this time to let Ro and Jamee get comfortable by running off with their rings and photographing them on this adorable post card. They did really great and it wasn’t long before they both could warm up to the camera. We had to make a pit stop at the famous facade of Zoomos and take a quick snap at their _ + _ = love wall. Can you say ADORABLE!?
We decided to walk up and down the Arts District and stop into a coffee shop and enjoy a cookie and a warm treat. I wanted to give them some space as well to be a bit less “in their face” and just take some time to watch them as a couple and capture their natural interaction with each other. I just love the way Jamee looks at Ro…it is seriously just full of love.
After we had worn our little legs out walking; we decided to hop over to Cedar Hill State Park and walk some more throughout the grounds. We stopped at the old barn and then headed over to the boat docks at sunset. Can you believe the sunset we caught? We arrived at just the right moment and it was truly a perfect ending to a wonderful day. I truly am so incredibly honored to be a part of Rashondra and Jamee’s wedding day, and I cannot wait to see these beautiful brides exchange vows! xoxo Megan
