Dallas Arboretum Wedding- Stephanie & Michael. I met Stephanie and Michael last fall, in the chill before winter and we talked about their dreams of a gorgeous garden themed wedding and reception in one of Stephanie’s favorite locations in Dallas, The Dallas Arboretum. We immediately hit things off…I like to think it’s because of my charm AND that Michael and I are both military veterans, Hoorah! After months if planning, their dreams came true for a true spring, garden wedding and reception. The weather was absolutely gorgeous during the day! Stephanie grew up in the Zion Lutheran church in Dallas, and she still attends so naturally she wanted to marry her best friend in the sanctuary of her childhood. Michael gave the sweetest earrings and Stephanie had custom cuff links made for Mike. Watching the two of them open their gifts was such a sweet moment!
The regal and formal (churchy as her pastor referred it!) ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! The stain glass windows are just amazing. The pews were full of friends and family to witness this day and it was perfect to say the least! In addition to the beautiful ceremony, Stephanie had a full brass quartet and full choir to give what she lovingly called a “concert” for her guests to enjoy. It was most definitely a beautiful concert!
The reception took place at the Dallas Arboretum, with a gorgeous outdoor cocktail hour, complete with “garden shoes” for guests to rest their feet and enjoy the grounds! The music, food, and atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed as we all enjoyed the celebration. There was a small hiccup with possible tornadoes but we were cool, calm & collected; with our eyes on the radar just in case. The party did not suffer for one moment thanks for John Pollard at FX Entertainment! We ended the night with a fragrant lavender exit and Stephanie & Michael left their reception in style…a new Mercedes S-Class! I had such an absolute fabulous time working with these two and I hope this isn’t the last time I see them…I can’t wait to see how their lives grow in strength and love! xoxo Megan
