During Ellen and David’s consultation, not only did we talk about their wedding day, but I also asked them about who they are as a couple. What was their love story? What did they do on their first date? How did he propose? I loved hearing all of the sweet memories, but one stuck out in particular. They baked macarons together on their first date!! I immediately thought of a cute idea for their engagement session and as you can see, it came to life!! I met the couple at their new home and we photographed them baking in their kitchen, something they love doing together. We added one more personal element to their session, their gorgeous pup! After we finished this portion of the session, we went to a nearby park and played some more. For a July Texas wedding, the heat wasn’t so bad and we truly enjoyed being outside. I loved spending the afternoon with these two and an added perk, I got to take some yummy treats home! Talk about a successful session! Be on the lookout for this couples’ upcoming wedding blog post!
