Bella Donna Chapel & Mckinney Flour Mill Wedding- Hope & Hugo.
I have known Hope & Hugo for over a year now, we met through our daughter’s school activities and when it came time for their wedding; they looked to me for their photography. They are such a wonderful and genuinely kind couple which made it easy to say yes to them. Plus, they have THE most adorable kids I have ever seen!
Hope & Hugo’s ceremony took place at the gorgeous Bella Donna Chapel in Mckinney, Tx. If you have never been to Adriatica, it is a gorgeous “Italian village” inspired community and the Bella Donna Chapel sits on the waterfront property. The chapel is intimate and elaborate with it’s ornate walls and ceilings. It is one of my favorite little chapels. We got the girls dressed and ready at the McKinney Flour Mill and then headed over to Bella Donna to get HOpe into her dress. They chose to have a traditional ceremony and see each other for the first time with friends and family, which I think is a lovely moment to witness. This day was no different, and it was an honor to help document these sweet moments. Their little family rang the church bell after the ceremony and off we went to the party at the Flour Mill.
DJ Jason Esquire was on a mission this night, he was bound and determined to make sure everyone’s socks were rocked off (I”m just being silly, but really he was awesome!) Maybe it was because he just brings the party to every wedding but maybe it was also because he had an international crowd so the ante was raised with the wide spectrum of artists and interests, musically of course. Everyone was there to party the night away with Hope and Hugo and that is certainly what happened. They ended their night with my fave…and kind of a requirement…the private last dance. I think it is such a sweet and special little moment. With a kiss to their babies and a wave good-bye, they went off into the night on the back of an old pickup truck. This was surely one for the books and I am so grateful to have such amazing clients that I also like to call friends! Congratulations Hope & Hugo…I can’t wait to see what happens next for your family!
