Can I just say that I am pretty crazy about College Station, Texas? I had never been until Taylor & Stephen got the crazy idea to do their engagement session in the town they have called home for the last four years. We met on the tail-end of midterms, and luckily everyone had headed out by the time we started, whew! We stopped at the most famous spots on Campus, starting off under the Century Tree. It didn’t take too long for them to forget about the “lady with the camera” and found their groove with enjoying our celebration of their engagement with me! Sometimes it can be difficult to relax, but these two did awesome! After the Century Tree, we stopped by the statue of Sull Ross, aka “Sully” and left a few pennies for good luck!
Taylor is fond of the Bottle Cap Ally, and so we walked ALLL the way across campus to make a pit-stop there. It was totally worth it (except for the part where my fit bit died so I couldn’t log my steps, grr!) We of course had to stop at Haynes Ring Plaza and Kyle Field! I’m telling you, we got our share of exercise that day! Taylor and Stephen were absolutely perfect, and I had the opportunity to hear all about Stephen’s romantic video proposal…SO CREATIVE! I love sessions like this were we spend enough time together that we have the opportunity to get to know each other much more than just over coffee.
We ended our evening under the Century Tree, one more time, and then finally a quiet stroll down Military Walk to end the evening. This session is so much more than i could have hoped for and I’m so excited to continue being a part of Taylor and Stephen’s journey to marriage. I’m one lucky gal! I hope you enjoy!
