Wendy from Each & Every Detail referred this sweet couple over to me and I am so thankful she did! Nhan and Markus live in California for their jobs but will be having their wedding in Fort Worth. In our initial consultation, we talked about having me come out there and us photographing their engagement session in places that are meaningful to them. Once it became a reality, we were all so excited! We started off their session bright and early to catch the sunrise on the San Gregorio Beach. It was so beautiful! After we wrapped up there we headed over to Kaffehaus in the San Mateo area for some breakfast and to photograph them with their dog Fairbanks, since they love sipping on some coffee with their fur baby by their side. The couple then changed into their second outfit and we went to play at the Pulgas Water Temple. What a beautiful area!! We all decided afterward that it was time for a siesta and that we would pick back up later on that afternoon. We all had dinner together and then to top off such an amazing day, we ended at the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve for sunset. When I sent Nhan & Markus the link for them to see their images, they sent the sweetest response back sharing how much they loved the images, especially the ones of Fairbanks. Little did we know he was going to pass away a couple weeks after we photographed their session. I was so brokenhearted to hear that, but I know that they were sad but a peace with it all. It was such an honor to spend such a special day with them and their sweet pup and I cannot wait to celebrate them getting married in a couple of weeks. Until then, lots of love, Hayle!!
