In the wedding industry, we are able to get to know some incredible human beings along the way. It’s so sweet having people that can relate to your weird work schedules and can pour advice into the specific ins and outs of it all. This sweet bride, Cathy, actually works at The Ashton Depot in Downtown Fort Worth and we couldn’t help ourselves but take advantage of this stunning space. The gorgeous chandeliers there are out of this world and the stain glass window pieces are truly remarkable. Kayle, Cathy’s fiances, serves in the U.S. Army and it was only fitting for him to represent such a big part of his life in their engagement photos. This session is particular was special because Kayle would soon be gone for deployment to the Middle East and I knew capturing these moments for them was going to help the time of being apart be a little bit easier. We had an absolute blast that afternoon photographing, laughing non stop, and getting to know each other better. For their second location we spent the rest of our time together walking around the Stockyard Station focusing on some of Fort Worth’s important hot spots. I cannot wait for Cathy & Kayle’s big day coming up in May, so stay tuned for that blog post! Lots of love, Hayle!!
