One of my favorite things about this couple is how open they are in trusting my creative instincts. Sometimes it is harder when you show your photographer your Pinterest board and tell them that this is exactly what you want your wedding to look like. Don’t get me wrong, we certainly want to hear and see the vision you have for your wedding day. But it means something to us when you can say, here’s what I was thinking I want but I fully trust you to take that into consideration and make our photographs great. Allowing your photographer their creative reign means so much to them and I promise will make a huge difference in your images. Let your photographer get to know you guys as a couple and why you are unique compared to all other couple’s they’ve photographed and I guarantee that you’ll fall more and more in love with your images. We had already shot Alex & Alex’s engagement session (you can view that here), but we wanted more. The day we initially photographed them, we intended the weather to be cooler but that just didn’t happen. When we got to talking more about it we decided to give it another try and we are so glad we did. The weather was great that day and the Botanic Gardens were so beautiful. I am thankful we got that additional opportunity to spend time together before their special day in May. Cancun here we come!! Lots of love, Hayle!!
