It was finally fall in Texas and as most of you locals know, that season here usually lasts all of about five minutes. Kali and Colin’s engagement session fell perfectly within that five minutes and we had such a great end result of images. We started their session at the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth in the Japanese Garden section. I don’t make bold statements that often, but I will say if you want the closest thing to fall colors for your engagement session, the Japanese Gardens is the way to go. Gorgeous greenery and pops of deep red, yellows, and oranges made this fall session spectacular. Once we wrapped up there, we headed over to the Kimbell Arts Museum for a stunning reflection shot in the fountain area they have there. We didn’t anticipate photographing until after sun down, but I’m so glad we did. We walked across the street to the Vortex at The Modern Art Museum and I was challenged to get creative with my external flashes. It turned out so elegant and unique! Thankful for those opportunities to test myself and get creative for my couples. Stay tuned for Kali’s outdoor bridal session and their wedding day blog soon! We traveled out to Blum, Texas for their venue, and let’s just say it was so worth the long drive! Lots of love, Hayle!!
