This was my first wedding at the Stonebridge Wedding & Event Venue in Blum, Texas. We had previously photographed Kali’s bridal session there, but I hadn’t experienced a full wedding day. It was incredible! Not only is their property beautiful, there’s so much of it and the places to photograph are endless. The team at Stonebridge were so kind and accommodating! They welcomed us with open arms and a heart to serve us in whatever way we needed. Their bridal and groom suites were where we started the day. Both Kali & Colin had such a relaxing morning prepping for such a special moment of their lives. Once the couple was dressed, we pulled them aside to share a first look. I loved seeing the look on Colin’s face when he saw Kali for the first time. He was blown away by how beautiful she looked and he shared with me that after seeing her, his nerves were gone. How precious!! The couple had their ceremony under the gorgeous and grand oak tree on the property. It was so fairy tale like to see them become one in marriage before the Lord, their family and friends. After the ceremony, the couple wanted to share their personal vows to one another. We hopped on the golf cart and drove to a secluded area where they were able to have that moment to themselves. There was tears and laughs, but it was truly beautiful to witness. After we wiped our tears and sniffles, it was time to celebrate! The couple hosted such a yummy dinner in the Stonebridges’ reception hall. After the couple cut their cake and the best man and maid of honor shared their speeches, everyone snuck outside to the patio. Thanks to Rod Baker with DFW Parties, them and their guests danced under the stars all night long. It was a dream come true for this sweet couple and we are so thankful to have been apart of it. Fort Worth Japanese Gardens Engagement Session | Kali & Colin
It was finally fall in Texas and as most of you locals know, that season here usually lasts all of about five minutes. Kali and Colin’s engagement session fell perfectly within that five minutes and we had such a great end result of images. We started their session at the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth in the Japanese Garden section. I don’t make bold statements that often, but I will say if you want the closest thing to fall colors for your engagement session, the Japanese Gardens is the way to go. I had never been to Stonebridge Wedding Venue until Kali’s bridal session. I can say now, I hope I have the opportunity to photograph there again. There’s so much land to play with and it’s all SO beautiful! We had an amazing time riding the golf course around and finding such pretty places to photograph. They have a precious team that truly cares about the couples and their vendors. We felt loved and taken care of the whole session and their wedding day was no different…
