This was my first time to photograph at the Dallas Arboretum during the Christmas season. It was truly beautiful! Thankfully with us living in Texas, we had some warmer weather on this day, which made it bearable to be out photographing during the winter time. Nicole and Josh made my job incredibly easy this day. They were such great listeners and caught on very quickly to all of the instructions I had given them for posing and such. Also, they were just naturals in front of the camera! As we walked around the Arboretum, we had great conversations and I learned so much about them as well. It made seeing them on their wedding day much more special and in doing so, I was able to bring more of who they are as a couple to their wedding day images. Stay tuned for that blog post soon. The Ashton Depot Ceremony & Reception | Nicole & Josh
When I first met Nicole & Josh, they shared all the fun details of their special day. Specifically, they were so excited to have both their ceremony and reception in the same space. I’ve seen this done many of times, but when I walked into this room on their wedding day, I was blown away! This was truly stunning!! I think the Ashton Depot did an incredible job at implementing both for this couple, making their dream come true. We started the getting ready portion of the day at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth. Surrounded by family and friends, these two were able to prepare for such an important day feeling loved and cared for. Once we arrived at the Ashton Depot, the couple shared a first look together. Josh was so amazed by how incredible Nicole looked in her gown from Wed Bridal Boutique. My personal favorite part of her gown was that precious bow in the back. It was so classy!
