Matthew is a jokester… and he loves pulling tricks on Eleanor! When we photographed their engagement session, we laughed the entire time because of how silly they were together. Matthew would make funny faces and it would make her giggle. Well the same rules applied on their wedding day. However, he took it to a whole other level! Matthew and all of his groomsmen had sunglasses and it was a running joke for them to wear them at certain times of the day. I think to hide his tears, Matthew slipped his on after he saw his beautiful bride during their first look. She had the biggest smile on her face when she saw him! Later on in the evening during the reception, Matthew surprised his now wife with a garter toss she’ll never forget. He had goggles on that had lights on the side and every time he went to grab the garter, he pulled out rubber ducks and threw them for his groomsmen to catch. If you have already seen Eleanor and Matthew’s engagement session blog, you would have read that Matthew loves surprising her. Heck, his way of proposing to her was through a scavenger hunt! What a sweetie! I loved getting to work alongside this couple and alongside their wedding vendor team. Kate with The Gold Dust Girls kept us all in line and on time while also providing her creative touch to all of the wedding details. The Elegant Petal did a phenomenal job with the florals. CB Entertainment kept the party going all night long and last but certainly not least, Sugar Bee’s Sweets provided us with some yummy donuts for that donut wall!! What a spectacular day it was for these two!! Congratulations once again and as always, lots of love, Hayle!!
