Oh fall in Texas how I love you!
Elaine & Anthony’s engagement portraits fell on the perfect day. I’m serious. We all know that Texas isn’t kind during summer but today, we got a break! Elaine and Anthony met me ALLL the way out in Weatherford, at Chandor Gardens for their session. We spent that afternoon getting to know each other and getting comfortable with my camera. The shade was an absolute treat and the grounds were gorgeous. We all wandered around, and I hung back to capture the love that poured out of this adorable couple. Just when things got a little too warm for us, we hopped in our cars and headed to the Clearfork Food Park in Fort Worth and made a beeline for Salsa Limon for their deliscious tacos! I love this time with my couples, I get the opportunity to hear all the glorious details of the proposal…which is totally my favorite part. I love hearing the guys perspective on how it all went down! Of course, Anthony planned the most romantic proposal. And like most, it had it’s own way of being perfectly imperfect…and perfect for them. Those are my favorite, the proposals that don’t go quite as planned but are so much more amazing that way.
We ended Elaine & Anthony’s session down at Trinity Park. These two snuggled up on a blanket Elaine’s mother made of her old t-shirts and they enjoyed a cold coke and some sweet moments. I am truly so honored to have been chosen by these two to be their wedding photographer. I cannot wait until their wedding day, it’s going to be so amazing! Congratulations to you guys and cheers to a lifetime of awesome days and cold Coca-Colas! xoxo~Megan
