Boy, oh boy! We were so excited when Christen from Broke Ass Bride gave us a call and told us about a new project she was working on! You may remember Christen from a blog post she did last year on brides in glasses! (Not only did we get to shoot images for that post, but we got to model as well! It was such fun!!) The real-deal, down-to-earth approach that the team at Broke Ass Bride takes on their posts is refreshing and that can be seen in the most recent post titled, “But How Will It Look On Me? A Wedding Gown Test Drive.” The newest line of BHLDN dresses by Anthropologie is making its way across the country in numerous trunk shows before launching later this year. Christen recommends BHLDN’s lightweight, detailed and affordable gowns to her readers and wanted to get a first hand experience of how the gowns look and feel on her. We had the opportunity to see and photograph some of these gorgeous gowns! The gowns were simply stunning! They were light and had such incredible detailing. The beautiful gowns we saw up close and personal were Persiphone, Wisteria, Elsa and Cascada. Persiphone was stunning with her gorgeous beading and light bottom. Wisteria was light, flowing and had some awesome metallic lace detailing. Elsa is one of a kind with her full beading on the entire gown and the removable, tulle skirt! The Cascada gown was bohemian chic with her strips of fabric and beautiful coloring. We were happy to be a part of this shoot and were so excited to have seen these beautiful gowns in person! You can count us among BHLDN’s many admirers!
