Doss Heritage and Culture Center Nuptials- Elizabeth & Sam

gold branch wedding ring

Elizabeth is an incredibly sweet bride who I met two short months ago. She shared with me her and  Sam’s love for each other and nature and thus, their wedding took place at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford, Texas. The space is intimate and incorporates the beautiful natural Texas landscape and rustic ceremony space with Texas cowboy heritage.  It is a unique location that includes a gallery with western artifacts and authentic art works as well. Sadly, Mother Nature had other plans for Elizabeth’s outdoor ceremony. Despite the cold and rain, Elizabeth was a dream bride. She happily switched things up and moved forward with an indoor ceremony. Sam is such a charming guy, and it was clear to see his love for Elizabeth.

Their nupials took place in the event space with intimate lighting and was performed by a family friend, who included personal touches that warmed my heart. Their flower girl and ring bearer were the cutest twosome I may have ever seen! After a quick room flip, we all enjoyed the mouthwatering texmex and my favorite, praline candy!!!  I knew how much Elizabeth and Sam were hoping to incorporate the outdoors in their special day so we took the oppotunity between the food and rain to take their romantics outdoors despite the 30 degree weather. I totally brought gloves just for this occasion!  This reception was a quiet and personal gathering of friends and family, catching up and celebrating the union of these two lovebirds. Everyone was overjoyed to be a part of this day, myself included! The couple enjoyed an intimate getaway and drove out west to enjoy the countryside for their honeymoon. Congratulations are due to both Elizabeth & Sam. My wish is for you two have many, many seasons of happiness and wedded bliss in your future! xoxo Megan
