I’m sure you remember this winter’s gorgeous tattooed bride, Lisa. Who couldn’t? If you need a reminder of her elegant and breathtaking bridals at the Fort Worth Club, here they are; Lisa’s Bridals. Lisa set the tone for her elegant and colorful tropical wedding and reception from the very beginning. Unfortunately, mother nature created a winter wonderland, quite the opposite of the tropical paradise she had created inside. We started our morning very carefully, the roads were covered in ice and luckily I had prepared and Lisa’s guests had made it in town right before the crazy storms.
We took advantage of the beautiful spaces and incorporated Lisa and James’ elements. They have a friendly joke with a green crocheted beanie so I made sure to put it somewhere super fancy ;). Lisa is a super laid back bride and James is a super cool guy. They relaxed and enjoyed the day as we got closer to their adorable first look. If you are on the fence about doing a first look, look at this one, so gorgeous! But first Lisa had to practice her dance with her dad, adorable!
Their small and intimate wedding was short and sweet, just perfect for them. I think there was even mention of Derek Jeter in the pastors nuptials, which was awesome! The details were beautifuly crafted by The Enchanted Florist , incorporating orchids and Birds of Paradise which are Lisa’s favorite flower. After a few pictures, Trey & The Tritones kicked off the party! The band knew how to keep the party uptempo and we partied until late into the evening. Everything was perfect from the moment Lisa and James saw each other for the first time to the sweet bubble send-off into the Fort Worth Club elevators! Congratulations to you both Lisa and James!!! xoxo Megan
