What a treat it was to photograph this genuine couple on a bright, sunny and beautiful Sunday morning! It had been raining cats and dogs for days and cleared up for us, thank goodness! I absolutely cherish and value the time I get to spend with couples before their wedding day. It’s important to me to get to know the couple whose big day I’m documenting. I like to work in meaningful details and establish a relationship. The wedding day is a busy day and I want brides and grooms to feel at ease with me and entrust this duty to me without worry. I had such a wonderful couple of hours with Melissa and Oliver. Their genuine, kind and open personalities resonated with me instantly! Oliver’s family has been a part of Fort Worth history and it was fun for him to show me a plaque for one of his family members. The smiles I got from this sweet couple were only made brighter with the beautifully bright morning light!
