When I was hired for this adorable twosome, it was by Rachel’s mother. Rachel and Chaes live out of state and trusted Rachel’s mother to choose a photographer for them…and a venue. So needless to say, I was super excited to finally have the opportunity to meet with Rachel and Chaes and spend some time together. These two are just a lovely couple. They have a laid back feel about them and we instantly got along. We spent the afternoon wandering around; beginning at a super cool little wine bar, Kent & Co Wines. We spent some time getting to know each other and I had the opportunity to see them interract with each other. Kent & Co has a beautiful royal blue cadillac inside the bar and Chaes is a car fan so I had to incorporate it into their images. Rachel’s engagement ring is also Chaes’s grandmother’s and is just a beauty. I watned to try to mix his two loves: Rachel & Cars. I’m pretty crazy about these ring shots.
We decided to walk down Magnolia Avenue and stop into a fun little coffee shop, Brewed. The shop was kind enough to let us use their totally awesome space and I can’t wait to go back again. The shop is full of beautiful textures and vintage couches. It is so adorable! After there, we all headed over to Trinity Park to feed the ducks and take advantage of the last of the fall leaves on the trees. Rachel and Chaes were really great sports about me making them love on each other 😉 They truly were great at relaxing and just being themselves around me. I know how difficult that can be and I’m so glad we were able to get to that point, I am just in love with this session and the way that I (hopefully) caught them at their true nature; just two people who are truly in love.  I hope you all enjoy! xoxo Megan
