The weather made quite an appearance at this Tolar Baptist Church and Granbury Resort Conference Center Wedding in Tolar, Texas and Granbury, Texas. “April showers” sure have made their appearance this year. Kristen and Greg’s wedding day started off with beautiful weather. At the start of the ceremony, many guests were checking their phones to see the updated weather forecast as a storm rolled into North Texas. The storm was predicted to hit sometime after the ceremony started. Despite a weather alert going off on a cell phone during the ceremony, we all made it out unscathed and upon exit of the church, we were all met by a half cloudy, half sunny sky with a DOUBLE RAINBOW!! Perfect photo opportunity! So glad we were able to capture that moment for the new Mr. and Mrs. Clark!
Kristen and Greg have wonderfully laid back, welcoming and good hearted personalities and they made for a great bride and groom and great clients. The storm had momentarily (30-ish minutes about!) knocked out power to the reception venue. Luckily it came on before myself, Kristen and Greg arrived at the reception venue. After that, everything went off perfectly! Everyone had a great time dancing at the reception, the toasters gave speeches that had the guests laughing non-stop and the sparkler exit went off without a hitch!
We managed to get great photos throughout the day and thank you, Kristen and Greg, for being such wonderful people to work with! Congratulations to you both!
