Trinity Park and The Modern provided Rachel and Chris with the perfect locations for their engagement portraits! This sweet couple and their adorable boy, Gavin, met me on a Sunday evening at Trinity Park. The couple currently lives in College Station, Texas and they came into town for their engagement session and what perfect timing! Just a couple days later, the cold front came blowing through the DFW Metroplex. Our Sunday was absolutely gorgeous and we took advantage of being outdoors and utilizing part of this great park. We saw the Forest Park Miniature Railroad train pass by a couple times, which sparked Gavin’s interest. We hung around the railroad tracks for a while before heading over into some of the heavily wooded areas close by. During much of our session, Rachel and Chris were joking and playing around with one another. Their energy provided me with some great smiles! I love it when couples feel comfortable enough to be themselves during our sessions. It makes for great opportunities for me to capture. After leaving Trinity Park, we headed over to The Modern Museum of Art of Fort Worth to finish up our session. The Vortex and Conjoined sculptures are such visually appealing features at The Modern so we hit those great spots! We lucked out and had a beautiful sunset behind the museum from where we were photographing so we took advantage of the beautiful scene unfolding before us.
