Warwick Melrose Hotel Dallas Wedding – Lillie & Tim
I met Lillie on a cold winter evening over some coffee and we were able to chat about her plans for a hot summer wedding. She told me that she wanted to have a fun and fabulous wedding in the Oak Lawn area. I definitely think all of her dreams for the big day came true. As the fall turned into spring we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous spring blooms for her bridals. You have to sneak over and take a peek here. Lillie did a lot of the planning while her fiancé, who is in the navy, was stationed across the country. Although I wasn’t able to spend much time with Tim before the wedding, I had a good feeling of the down to earth guy that he was. On the wedding day we planned to be on the patio at the Warwick Melrose Hotel, and luckily the full day of rain stopped just for the two of them to have their ceremony the way they wanted it. Surrounded by family and friends (as well as some curious hotel guests), Lillie and Tim exchanged their vows and under sunny skies at that! We were able to sneak away to the Melrose Cafe to take some romantics before the party started. The gorgeous Warwick Melrose ballroom was filled with beautiful lilac blooms made by the talented Antebellum Design. Check out how the uplighting from DJ Jeff Hickok, transformed this elegant ballroom into a fabulous party space! We celebrated late into the evening and while the guest got ready for their exit, Lillie and Tim had a private last dance. (this is one of my favorite parts about a wedding day!) Lillie and Tim left their reception in style with gold confetti and took off in a red corvette.
I’ve absolutely enjoyed every moment getting to know this awesome couple! Although they now live across the country, I hope I will continue to have the opportunity to work together with them and watch their family grow.
